CLIPBOARDS AND BUBBLE BATHS ARE MY FAVORITE TREAT

You know what I like to do late at night after I put my two kids to sleep? You guessed it! I fill up the tub, get a tall glass of water (this purple cup pictured is great because it holds a lot of ice) and clip a few pages of my latest project to a board and jump in. Sometimes after I get out, my husband will glance at the clock and say, "You were in there for two hours. What are you working on?"

Where is your favorite place to write???

Good for you.

I don't know that for me its about the where...

but anytime I have decided to write something...

journal
blog post
poem
story

I have to organize my thoughts and write them down right then even if its 1am or it is lost forever. Most of my inspiration hits in the wee hours... when I should be asleep.

LOL, becoming a raisin would be my reply! I love those kind of baths with a book or my writing. My other favorite place to write is Panera in a booth with a nice cold drink and a cookie to keep me going! I've gone 3-4 hours writing straight without realizing it when I am absorbed in one of their booths.

You must be very clean!
I write on the couch!

I never have been able to sit in a tub for very long. I'm a shower girl.

I like to write on the couch, on the back porch, under a tree, at the beach, on my laptop at my desk, in a spiral while in bed...

Love this post! I do a lot of brainstorming for stories in the tub too. Mostly I write in my room on the bed, or in the living room.

I can't believe your manuscripts don't get wet. I used to try to read in the tub, but it never worked for me!

I've never tried writing in the tub. Usually I just like to soak and meditate in there. I like to write in bed with my laptop and a cup of hot tea.
